CRAFTING THROUGH PASSION

Hi! I’m Garrett! I’ve been working with wood since I was in the 7th grade! I come from a long family history of builders and makers!

I worked in my father woodshop when I left the Navy in 2010 until I graduated from college in 2014. In 2016 I started working full time in the Sawmill/Lumber/Woodworking industry. In 2018, I started my own business and I’ve been crafting custom wood designs for customers every since!

I love what I do. I love creating. I love opening new doors in this field every chance I get. It’s never been an easy road but I wouldn’t trade it for your job. Unless you’re a fighter pilot.. Then maybe I’d trade this for that. Yea.. I would for sure.

Anyways! Thank you for stopping by and checking us out. I say “us” loosely. Usually its me but I’m always looking for the right people to join the team!

Currently we have Solomon on board who is a master woodworker! He’s worked with me for several years and his passion for the craft is humbling.

My beautiful wife Cass also dives in from time to time. My son Sawyer just started selling his wooden knives at our boutique in Castle Rock which is awesome. There is also my father, Brad who owns Mountain Heart Woodworks and I’ve had the pleasure of working next to for the last 10 years. His advise and influence on my business is priceless.

I’ve gone through lots of name changes but check it out.. Anchored Woodcraft is here to stay:)
